Ashley Smith

About Ashley

At first glance, it may not seem like a past career in medical device sales and a multi-business entrepreneur have anything in common. But for Ashley Smith, the common denominator is communication. Whether helping hospitals find the right tools they need to save lives, inspiring moms to prioritize time to fill their soul’s cup, helping women be heard, or creating a fashion line that empowers/employs/and educates women globally, Ashley is passionate about clear communication to move projects and people towards their goals.

After receiving her BFA in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Georgia, Ashley embarked on a nearly 13-year career in the medical device industry, serving as a Territory Manager for Applied Medical and Biomet 3i and as a sales representative for Septodont. These roles helped Ashley hone her expertise as a concise, assertive communicator, clearly articulating products and expectations to surgeons in a high-stakes environment. In 2018, Ashley left the healthcare field to launch her own company, Whine Down LLC. She has since authored her first book, established a Non-Profit organization called M Perfectly (www.mperfectly.org) and will soon be launching a one of a kind Fashion Line called Letther that will unite women through courage, strength and vulnerability globally.

A natural extrovert who loves singing, dancing and making people laugh, Ashley recently produced her own music video, a mom parody to the hit song “Ju Ju on That Beat” called “Mama on Her Feet.” Considering our circumstances these days, I’m willing to share a laugh at my own expense! Check it out here. Ashley resides in Seattle, Washington with her husband and three young children and can often be found offering personal growth workshops that help women let go of perfection, move past the fear of failure and use her voice to impact the world.
