Christie Randolph

About Christie

Immediately after graduating from the University of South Carolina, Christie began her career as an industrial engineer for Milliken & Company.

Unfortunately, the work didn’t quite fit the image she had for post-college life, so rather than stay in a role where she was just going through the motions, Christie decided to take a leap in a new direction.

That leap was a big one, because it landed her in Minnesota.  Yes, a southern girl who had seen little snow headed to Minnesota, sight unseen.  Once in Minnesota, Christie took a role at Ceridian as an Account Services Coordinator.  It was at Ceridian that Christie had her first female boss and realized that she ultimately wanted to land in a role where she could lead and empower other people the same way her boss was leading and empowering her.

Christie eventually joined SAP, where she has spent the last 14+ years.  At SAP, Christie has taken on a variety of different roles – of increasing responsibility – to ensure she was always learning and growing.  In her current role, as Director of Business Enablement, Christie leads a team that works with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize IT development request.

While reflecting on her career and life, Christie admits they’re nothing she could’ve imagined as a kid.  She has always worked hard but has been fortunate to have several people invest in her when there was nothing for them to gain.  Now, it is her responsibility to do the same for others.  Christie is passionate about helping people succeed, particularly women of color, and is excited to participate in 2X Women in Tech podcast and help women continue to rise.
